Not totally alone, Dante was here as well. It was cold today and when nighttime came it was too chilly for my taste!
We went to bed after we locked the house and made sure that all the alarms were set, and I decided that Dante could sleep in my bed. He was very happy as it was cold and he could snuggle up a bit. I have to tell you that little cold feet is a huge thing - it could give you heart failure!
I heard a lot of strange noises on the roof. Could have been the Hadida's (spelling?) that tried to settle down for the night - I actually hope it was! You know how your mind can play tricks on you when it is dark. I imagined that the painters found a nice little secret spot on the roof that can be used as an entrance point, I also thought I heard a rat going through my things! I thought I heard footsteps in the corridor, and I thought I heard a door slam somewhere! But I decided I needed the rest, so I closed my eyes and slept like a baby. Why do we say slept like a baby? If I go on how Dante slept as a baby, that is totally not true!
Some pictures of the house being painted. Remeber the house was totally blue, not anymore. The roof was red, now it is dark brown. The gutters will be white and not blue. They did not start on the inside yet, will start on Monday.
