1st of May was a holiday - so this month started out positively. I liked the off day as I could do some drawing and did not have to rush anywhere.
5th - Dante broke his toe by dropping a 2l coke bottle on it. Took him to the doctor the next morning and felt so sorry for him as he endured a lot of pain.
I am making progress at the art class. I did a great job with the drawing side and the art teacher is very impresses with my drawing ability so far. Next week I will be doing my last drawing project - composition. After that it will be painting time for me! Happy days!
I am not very impressed with the way Idols South Africa turned out. I think it was rigged. Sasha Lee was not the best Idol in my opinion. I was so upset the night of the finale. So very upset.

Last Month - April 2009
April was a month with many happenings. 2nd of April my brother Peet had his birthday, 4th of April my Mom and Dad would have had their wedding anniversary, the 12th of April it was David's birthday and the 15th it was Gideons'.
This month also had a lot of public holidays. It was a long weekend the weekend of the 10th, the weekend of the 23rd I think and we got off on the 22d to vote. The 27th is Workers Day and we had off on that day as well.
Gideon had his birthday bash at the Liedjie Boer and had a jolly time. David had his birthday bash in Middelburg at the Amora Bird Park. it was nice to see his old friends and my family too.
Yvette my sister in law celebrated her birthday the 23rd of April and Keith, brother in law celebrated his the 25th of April. Oupa Piet had his birthday the 26th day of April and then Gideon's sister, who passed away 4 years ago, also had her birthday on the 27th.
So, there you have it. A busy month all in all.
