25 Random things about Susan

1: I love coffee, I think I am addictive to coffee
2: I get lost easily, even with a roadmap and the other day also with the GPS!
3: I have a passion for clouds. I have to have a look at clouds at least once a day
4: I love painting and drawing and hope to make it my full-time career and make losts and lots of money and maybe be famous one day?
5: I have a thing for fairies. Love it. At the moment I am doing a series of fairy drawings with a twist.....you have to wait and see ....patience
6: I do not sing in the shower. That's pretty random!
7: I hate ironing and being in the kitchen
8: I like to speed sometimes.,..but my car is not very fast ;-)

what a shitty end of 2008 and even more shitty start to the new year

I had Ouma here since 7 December 2008 and she decided there and then (while Hubby was overseas) that she is in charge - we needed to follow a strict diet. Well, it was a nightmare. It was a 2 month long nightmare for me. The diet was allowed by me and my chidren were hating me for it! I stopped it as it was rediculous to say the least.
I had no space of my own in my own house. She occupied my favourite sitting spot and what I hated most was when there was limited sitting space, that she would lay on my couch and left no space me for to sit. Grrrrrrrrr

She would rearrange my kitchen, living room and diningroom! My teflon pans were ruined. My stainless steel tumblers were damaged. I can go on forever talking about the damage she caused! But let's leave it there for now.

I was followed like a shadow when I went anywhere! I wanted to scream! I needed space but it was not to be. The last straw was when she dicciplined my youngest and screamed at him. I drew the line there. Not that it mattered .... she ignored the line.

I can tell you more horror stories, but it would just make me wanna jump from the nearest bridge. So I will not tell.....
In all fairness, she is actually such a nice person, but for some reason she just think I can not do my job properly. I hated every minute she was here. I will not have her here like this again. I refuse!

I need another start to this year. I need to make my new year today. I will stand up and shake off this heavy feeling and I will organise a 2 month holiday just for myself as I deserve it. Did you hear me? A lengthy holiday!
