Marching to March!

What a busy month it was! Actually hectic! Whew!


Dante won a local competition held by Cash Build and because he came first in the Kempton Park area, he won his school R12 000! He himself got R500 to spend and a Glass trophy with his name engraved on it. he also got the normal T-shirt and some other gifts. He is very proud of the certificate he got for his trouble too. The artworks of all the children that got gold, silver and bronze AND his winning picture will be on display for 5 years until the next competition!

David is doing well. He is busy with website designing and I must say he is doing a great job of it. David will turn 21 next month! Wow! He is also impressing me with his ability to program or working out a program and how it is ticking - and sometimes bettering it. Working out ways to beat the mundane - making life easier for himself! Well, as I said, he turns 21 in April. Times sure does fly!

Speaking of time flying....this month Gideon and I will be married 24 years. He normally spoils me rotten on my birthday, Valentines day, Christmas day and on our anniversary too. I know he will spoil me this time too. Inside information ;-)

I have finished my pencil project I worked on and am so chuffed with the way it turned out. I am following it up with a pastel project. I was pleasantly surprised by the reaction I got at the art class. I really felt like I was the most important person there. Everybody commented on my drawing, it was even borrowed to show it around in the other art class. I was showered with compliments and praise. I am so honoured and happy about it. It will go on an exhibition organized by the Art group I belong to.
