What a countdown! Got emotional on Wednesday as one of my students started crying, hugging me, asking me not to go away. Wow! What do you do in a situation like this? I just hugged her back. Hannah is such a lovely little girl and always smiling. Only not on Wednesday. I had Soo Min coming to the lab late one afternoon after After School Activies and the gift that he gave me I will treasure for ever. He gave me decorated chopsticks. Now if you asked Gideon, he would tell you I struggle to eat with chopsticks. Always did. BUT, I will learn and I will eat with those he gave me.
My computer "died" on me, and I am typing on Gideon's Macbook. He is not here to fix my PC. I will try to do a good job on the Mac as it is a little bit different than my PC. I will download pictures soon (when it is fixed) as I cannot seem to make the Macbook upload my pics.
I only have 5 working days left at DIA. Sonal, our social ringleader ;-) gave me a warning not to leave too early on Thursday as a goodbye session was organised. That will give me time to say goodbye to all my lovely friends at DIA. I normally get very emotional, hopefully I will be strong and not let that happen!
All in all I am happy to stop working soon. It is too stressful to do a big move and to work at the same time. I am not giving my all, and I do feel guilty on the one hand, but on the other hand I do feel I did my time and I need to get closure and get with the programme of packing/sorting ect ect.....
I do look forward to staying at home for a while. I want to paint, paint, paint and paint again. I aslo want to take my photography more serious. I am looking forward to creative times!!!!!
